Match sewing colours with real samples

Screen brightness, photography and room lighting can change how a colour appears online. A physical swatch lets you compare the real thread or zip tape with your fabric before placing a larger or repeat order.

Thread swatches

Selected samples are available from our polyester thread and cotton thread ranges. Use them for dressmaking, quilting, alterations, crafts and other sewing projects.

Introductory thread-set offer: each customer may purchase their first eligible polyester or cotton thread set at half price. The offer is limited to one first set per customer and applies only to the eligible sets shown in this category.

Zip swatches

Zip swatches will be added as each range becomes available. After choosing a colour code, browse our woven tape invisible zips, flexi tape invisible zips or close-end nylon coil zips to select the required length.

Colour-matching advice

Compare samples in daylight and under the lighting where the finished item will be used. Keep the colour code for repeat ordering. A swatch is more reliable than an online image, but a later production batch may still differ slightly.
